The SQL Date Format VLDB property can have a different value to the one set at the Project Level for a particular datamart report.

The SQL Date Format VLDB property can have a different value to the one set at the Project Level for a particular datamart report.
In order to accomplish a change of a VLDB Property value for a datamart report at report level, follow the steps below:

  1. Create a new database instance for the same ODBC DSN as the datamart database instance. In order to minimize resource usage, specify only one thread for this instance.
  2. Change the SQL Date Format VLDB property for this database instance.
  3. Assign this new database instance to the particular report that needs to have a different SQL Date Format than the one at project level.

These steps can be applied to any VLDB property that needs to be set for a particular datamart report(s) and it is only defined at project level.
