SYMPTOM:
When creating reports in Strategy Web 10.x, the currency symbol is not applied if the currency symbol is set to apostrophe '
The same report displays properly formatted metric in Strategy Desktop 10.x.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
The steps below illustrate the issue using the Profit Margin metric in the Strategy Tutorial project.
Below is the report in Strategy Developer prior to applying the formatting.
The following image shows the same report with formatting applied:
Below is the same report in Strategy Web with the metric formatted:
However, the metric does not display the formatting, as shown below:
CAUSE:
This is a known issue with Strategy Web
ACTION:
Contact Strategy Technical Support for an update on the status of this issue.
WORKAROUND:
A formatting is applied when putting four apostrophes '''' instead of one, as shown below:
