KB18034: 'Configuration object 'CASTOR_SERVER_CONFIGURATION' with ID 'XXXX' cannot be modified because it is locked by ‘USER’ on ‘MACHINE’ since mm/dd/yyyy h:mm:ss’ error occurs when executing a script in MicroStrategy Command Manager

SYMPTOM:
When executing a script in Strategy Command Manager 2021 GA and above, either via the console or through the command line, the following error occurs:
 
Configuration object 'CASTOR_SERVER_CONFIGURATION' with ID 'XXXX' cannot be modified because it is locked by 'USER' on 'MACHINE' since mm/dd/yyyy h:mm:ss. Please contact your administrator for more information.
If the option to log error codes is turned on, the Strategy Command Manager log file will display the full error message as:
 

Exit Code:8 Error Code:-2147213500 Configuration object 'CASTOR_SERVER_CONFIGURATION' with ID 'XXXX' cannot be modified because it is locked by 'USER' on 'MACHINE' since mm/dd/yyyy h:mm:ss. Please contact your administrator for more information.

 
Alternatively, run the following Strategy Command Manager script as an administrator:

UNLOCK CONFIGURATION FORCE;
