KB18207: How does MicroStrategy treat ACLs when an object is moved, copy and pasted, or created and saved in MicroStrategy

How does MicroStrategy treat ACLs when an object is moved, copy and pasted, or created and saved in MicroStrategy

Move:
When moving an object, it keeps the original ACL of the object.

Copy and paste:
The copied and pasted object inherits its parent folder's ACL as well as the user who performs the 'copy and paste'.

Create a new object and save:
It inherits its parent folder's ACL, as well as the object creator in ACL.

Run a report and Save As:
It inherits its parent folder's ACL, as well as the user who runs and saves it.

Edit an object and Save:
The existing ACL will not be changed. The object maintains its own ACL.
