SYMPTOM:
After Strategy Narrowcast Server 8.x sends a PDF file in compressed format (ZIP), a user cannot extract the PDF file from the compressed file (ZIP) with the following error.
CAUSE:
Strategy has dzactx.dll for compressing a file in Strategy Narrowcast Server 8.x. However, this error can occur if the Strategy dll file, dzactx.dll, is not properly registered. The common cause of this dll registration issue is that there could be the same named DLL registered, for example, under c:\WINDOWS\system32\ folder by third party software after Strategy Narrowcast Server 8.x installed.
ACTION:
To unregister the third party dll file, search for the same named dll file, dzactx.dll, outside of Strategy directory, and unregister dzactx.dll. Rename the dzactx.dll if necessary.
To register Strategy dll file again, go to c:\program files\common files\MicroStrategy\ and register dzactx.dll.
