KB18738: If the contents of a textbox span multiple pages, the last line and first line of subsequent pages will be truncated horizontally (cut-off) when exporting a Report Services document to PDF in MicroStrategy Intelligence Server 10.x

SYMPTOM:
When any user, including the Strategy 'Administrator' user, runs a Report Services document that contains a textbox whose contents span multiple pages, then it will truncate horizontally (cut off) the last line and the first line of subsequent pages when exporting to 'PDF' in Strategy Intelligence Server 10.x.
 
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
Follow the steps below to reproduce this issue in the Strategy Tutorial project:
 

• Create a new Report Services document.
• Add a textbox to any section of the Report Services document, e.g. to the 'Detail Header' section.
• For the contents of the textbox, make sure it's sufficient to span multiple pages (more than one) and notice that when exporting to PDF, at the bottom of the second page for the last line and at the top of the third page for the first line, the text is truncated horizontally (cut off), as shown below:
  

CAUSE:
This is a known issue with Strategy Intelligence Server 10.x.
 
ACTION:
Contact Strategy Technical Support for an update on the latest status of this issue.
 
WORKAROUND:
If exporting to PDF is not mandatory, the user can run the Report Services document or dashboard from Strategy Web 10.x and the display will not truncate the text, as the concept of 'page' is not applicable within this context..
