SYMPTOM:
When running out-of-the-box reports in Strategy Enterprise Manager 9.x, the following error occurs:
Additionally, when checking the Warehouse Catalog for the Strategy Enterprise Manager project, an error occurs stating one or more of the following tables was not found:
CAUSE:
The invalid (missing) objects are columns within one or more of the above tables which is missing from the Strategy Enterprise Manager project's Warehouse Catalog; all of the 'tables' are actually database views. The database account used for the Strategy Enterprise Manager project’s warehouse data source name (DSN) does not have the necessary database permissions to read views.
ACTION:
Grant permission to read database views to the user account specified to be used for the Strategy Enterprise Manager project's warehouse DSN.
