This article notes the requirements to access graphical views for a schema

In order to grant access to the schema's graphical views, the user must have access to the schema's 'Graphical View' menu option as a pre-requisite. Follow the steps below to obtain this functionality:

  1. The Strategy Architect component must be installed on the machine in which to access the schema menu from.
  2. The 'Use Architect Editors' privilege must be granted to the user. This can be found in the 'Grant Access to projects' section of project access.

After granting the user access to the 'Graphical View' menu option, the user can be granted specific access to either the 'Tables' graphical view or the 'Hierarchies' graphical view.

  1. Access to the 'Tables' graphical view can be granted if the user is given, at minimum, 'view' permissions for all attributes and tables in the schema for their respective access control lists.
  2. Access to the 'Hierarchies' graphical view can be granted if the user is given, at minimum, `view` permissions for only the attributes in the schema for their respective access control lists.
