SYMPTOM:
When a user runs a service in order to obtain the XML for an information object and the XSLT Chunking parameter is enabled, the service fails and returns the following error in Strategy Narrowcast Server 10.x:
Service ID Execution ID Segment ID Error formatting Document . FormatDocumentElement failed for Element 1[0:Failed to load XML into DOM (-1072896764): A name was started with an invalid character.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
Follow the steps below to reproduce this issue in the Strategy Tutorial project:

CAUSE:
This is a known issue in Strategy Narrowcast Server 8.x when using the MSTR7ToHTML-ReturnXML.xsl file and the XSLT Chunking parameter is enabled. Notice that this only happens when more than one chunk is created. If the chunk size is enough to fit the result set in one chunk the issue does not occur and the xml is returned successfully.
ACTION:
Contact Strategy Technical Support for an update on the status of this issue.
WORKAROUND:
To prevent this issue from occurring, set XSLTChunking to 'false' or increase the QRA chunk size to a number greater than or equal to the number of rows that the report is returning in order to have just one chunk.
REGISTRY MODIFICATON:
WARNING:
Modifying registry values incorrectly may cause serious, system-wide problems that may require the re-installation of Microsoft Windows NT. Any edit of the registry is done at the user's own risk. Since these are user-initiated changes, they are not covered by any Strategy warranty. If using Microsoft Windows NT, the user should backup the registry and/or update an Emergency Repair Disk (ERD) prior to alterations.
