This article explains how to disable the display of tooltips on grids in MicroStrategy Web.
Some users may want to turn off the display of tooltips because of they can not display symbols such as $ or %. Follow these steps to disable tooltips in grid in Strategy Web at the project level.
Log into Strategy Web
Click on the link "Preferences" and navigate to Project Defaults - Grid display.
Uncheck the option "Show object descriptions as tooltips in grid" The setting is shown in the following image:
