SYMPTOM:
The advanced settings in the projects tab in the Strategy Intelligence Server Configuration are grayed out as shown below:
CAUSE:
These advanced settings are disabled in a symmetrically clustered environment i.e. if the same projects are loaded on all nodes of the Strategy Intelligence Server cluster. These settings are only applicable to asymmetric clusters and they control the latency at which a project loaded on one node will get failed over to the surviving node in case of a failure and hence are not applicable to a symmetrical cluster.
