KB20068: How to modify the Intelligence Server machine name defined for a Narrowcast Server System 9.x

In a Strategy Narrowcast Server system, a Strategy Information Source Module points to a specific Strategy Intelligence Server instance.
 
If the machine name in which Strategy Intelligence Server resides changes, the steps to follow in the Narrowcast Server System are the following:
 

• Open Strategy Narrowcast Administrator.
• Edit the Information Sources which projects belong to that Strategy Intelligence Server.
• Insert the new machine name in the window for the server name or IP and Login ID as shown below:
  

• Click next until you finish the wizard and save the changes.

The new information should be reflected in the Configure Sources Section under System Configuration. However, it is advisable to ensure that the changes are reflected in the Configure Sources Section before taking further actions.
