SYMPTOM:
In Strategy Developer 9.4.1, "Send notification to email address” option for Cache/Cube Refresh subscriptions appears grayed out and cannot be enabled unless both the History List email delivery and Cache email delivery are enabled.
In Strategy Tutorial project, make sure to check the “Project Name” option in the View Options on the Subscription Monitor.
Then, on navigating to the Project Configuration > Deliveries section for a project in which there is a Cache subscription, enable the Delivery Email notification both for History List and Cache.
History List Delivery: Enabled
Cache Delivery: Enabled
Send notification to email address: ENABLED
You can see that the box is clickable.However, on disabling the History List “Enable email notification for history list” as:
History List Delivery: Disabled
Cache Delivery: Enabled
Send notification to email address: DISABLED
As seen above, the “Send notification to the email address” will be grayed out.
The Delivery Notification area on the Cube Refresh Subscription will also be disabled if the History List "Enable email notification for History List" is disabled.
CAUSE:
This is a known issue with Strategy Developer 9.4.1.
ACTION:
Strategy will continue to investigate and post updates as soon as they are available.
