KB20198: How to remove the MicroStrategy copyright information from the login page footer in MicroStrategy Web

When viewing the login page of MicroStrategy Web removing or modifying the copyright message displayed in the footer.

When viewing the login page of Strategy Web 10.x and above, administrators may want to remove or modify the copyright message displayed in the footer, as shown below. This technical note explains how to achieve this using the Web Customization Editor.

  • Launch the Web customization Editor.
  • Create a new Plug-in
  • Navigate to Strategy Web Configuration -> Property Files -> Web-INF -> classes -> resources.
  • Double-click on the appropriate MessagesBundle_ .properties file to open it in the editor.
  • Change the string mstrWeb.0= to the desired message.

  • Restart the Strategy Web server for the changes to take effect.
