SYMPTOM:
The Web Universal page displays the message `No projects are connected to the Project Source` when the Intelligence Server name is changed in the hosts file in a Linux client machine.
CAUSE:
The original name assigned to any Intelligence server machine using domain name mapping should not be changed by updating the hosts file on any client machine.
It is extremely common to have domain specific names for machines. For example, notice that the name of the machines with IP addresses 192.168.199.21 and 192.168.199.22 were changed from the windows domain names to DP10 and DP11 on a linux box by altering the hosts file.
However, if the name of the Intelligence server machine is changed from its original name by mapping its IP address to another name on a client machine, there will be a conflict and Strategy Web will give the message 'No projects are connected to the Project Source`.
ACTION:
In order to resolve the issue, the original names of the Intelligence server machines have to be restored as shown below,
