KB203364: How to enter a "NULL" function into a fact formula instead of "NulltoZero" function?

QUESTION:
How to enter a "NULL" function into a fact formula instead of "NulltoZero" function?

ANSWER:
For example lets consider a simple If and then clause in the fact formula, so that if the first statement meets the requirement, metric is calculated , if not, we have to display null. But when we try to use the "NULL" function, it does not get validated as a formula.
This is by design. Strategy parser doesnt recognize NULL as a key word for null value. Thus directly using NULL in formula will fail. As a workaround users can use ApplySimple function as below:

ApplySimple(“Case when #0>0 then #1 else NULL end”, [BACK_END_DENIAL_COUNT],[TEST_ID])

Also, you can use "NulltoZero" function as shown in the screenshot.
