DSSMDOBJTRNS.LOCALE contains "xxx" unsupported locales in project 'abc'

CAUSE:
MD Doctor will check for physical metadata inconsistency in each MD Table. For the translations, MD Doctor will get all the locales each Project supports, and then find out entries in the DSSMDOBJTRNS table that are not contained in the supported locales for each Project. The errors below indicate there are numbers of entries in DSSMDOBJTRNS table use unsupported locales in Project ‘xxxx’.

ACTION:
It is safe to fix the problem as in recommended action. It is also OK to keep them in the table as they will not cause any functional issues.

NOTE:
Some important principles to use MD Doctor to follow:

  • Running MD Doctor should not be a routine operation
  • Before running MD Doctor (fix/scan mode), all operations against the metadata should be stopped.
  • Before running MD Doctor (fix mode), a backup of the metadata must be taken.
  • Always save the MD Doctor logs.
