Internet Explorer 11 Enterprise Mode is, similar to IE compatibility mode, a functionality to simulate an Internet Explorer version other than the currently installed IE version. For that reason, running MicroStrategy Web in Internet Explorer 11 Enterprise Mode is not a supported configuration.

Question

Is Internet Explorer 11 Enterprise Mode supported for Strategy Web 10.x?

Answer

Strategy certifies browsers available at the time a Strategy Web version is released. Certification is always based on Internet Explorer standard modes.
Internet Explorer 11 Enterprise Mode is, similar to IE compatibility mode, a functionality to simulate an Internet Explorer version other than the currently installed IE version. For that reason, running Strategy Web in Internet Explorer 11 Enterprise Mode is not a supported configuration.
Contrarily to compatibility mode, Enterprise Mode can be enabled or disabled for specific pages / applications which means that it can be centrally managed in order to ensure that Strategy Web runs in standard mode while other, legacy applications on the Intranet may be rendered in Enterprise Mode.
