KB203734: Mobile notifications are not generated by Alert Subscriptions when a different report or document is set to be sent in MicroStrategy Web 9.4.1.

SYMPTOM:
When creating Alert Subscriptions for mobile notifications on a metric in Strategy Web 9.4.1, if the user set a different report or document to be sent in the Delivery Settings, no mobile notifications are generated on the mobile device.

CAUSE:
This is a known defect with Strategy Web 9.4.1. If the report or document set to be sent by the alert subscription does not contain the metric on which the alert subscription has been created, then no mobile notifications are generated.
ACTION:
Currently this issue is being reviewed by Strategy for a potential code fix on an upcoming Strategy release
WORKAROUND:
A possible workaround is to include the metric generating the alert in the delivered report/document.
