SYMPTOM: An MDX query which has been cancelled within Strategy Developer 9.4.x still shows as running within the SAP MDX database.
CAUSE: This is a known issue in Strategy 9.3.x and above. Although Strategy drops the connection from its side, the user remains logged in to SAP and the job continues to execute until completion.
ACTION:
Strategy will continue to investigate and post updates as soon as they are available.
WORKAROUND:
This user connection can be killed from the MDX database side, using the database client tools rather than Strategy.
