Article outlines how the isolation levels of the MicroStrategy ODBC driver of DB2 Wire Protocol map to the IBM DB2 Connect driver isolation levels.

The Strategy ODBC driver for DB2 Wire Protocol (manufactured by DataDirect Technologies, Inc.) provides the following options for the 'Default Isolation Level' parameter in the Data Source Name (DSN) configuration:
 

  • 0 - Read Uncommitted
  • 1 - Read Committed
  • 2 - Repeatable Read
  • 3 - Serializable
  • 4 - None

The IBM DB2 Connect driver provides the following options for isolation level:
 

  • Repeatable Read
  • Read Stability
  • Cursor Stability
  • Uncommitted Read
  • No Commit
