KB204732: The error message "You have not made any changes to submit" occurs when submitting changed values of a list controler in a Transaction Services Document in MicroStrategy Web 9.3.1

SYMPTOM:
In Strategy 9.3.1 the error  "You have not made any changes to submit" occurs when submitting values from a list controlerin a Transaction Services Document. 
 
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

• Create a Transaction Services Document based on the report "Report Item Orders" in the Strategy Tutorial Project.
  The report is located under Strategy Tutorial\Public Objects\Reports\Strategy Platform Capabilities\Strategy Transaction Services\Datasets
  
• Map the Attribute Forms and Metrics from the dataset to the Transaction Services Report "Insert Item Order".
  The report is located under Strategy Tutorial\Public Objects\Reports\Strategy Platform Capabilities\Strategy Transaction Services\Datasets
  Enable the option "Flag cells with modifed data" as shown in the screenshot below:

• Enable the option "Show by default" in the list controler settings for the Metrik "Units_Requested":
  

• Create the "Submit" button and point it to the grid
  
• Save the document and execute it in Express Mode
  
• Change in the list controler the default value:
  

• After applying the change the field is NOT marked:
   

• When submitting the changed the error message "You have not made any changes to submit" occurs. 
  

 
CAUSE:
This is a known issue in Strategy Web 9.3.1
 
ACTION:
The issue was fixed in Strategy 9.4.1 Hotfix 2. Upgrade to this or a higher version of Strategy in order to take advantage of the fix.
 
WORKAROUND:
There are different options to avoid the issue:

1. After changing the value as indicated in step 6, click into the field of the value and afterwards outside the underlying grid.
   
2. Disable the option "Show by default" when using list controler.
   
3. Use different controler, e.g. slice controler.
