SYMPTOM:
When executing a report against PostgreSQL warehouse database the execution is failing with the following error.
The column %1's datatype %2 with precision %3 scale %4 is not supported
CAUSE:
The Boolean datatype is not supported with PostgreSQL database in Strategy 9.x
ACTION:
Strategy will continue to investigate and post updates as soon as they are available.
WORKAROUND:
It is possible to map the boolean datatype as integer in Strategy 9.x. This can be done by using a cast function.
STEP 1.
Update structure in the warehouse catalog of the table including the boolean column. Strategy 9.x doesn't have mapping between boolean type and Strategy internal datatype. The boolean datatype should be seen as "Unknown"; it is not natively supported by Strategy 9.x .

STEP 2.
Create a new attribute where the boolean datatype is used as an id form. The column with boolean datatype can be mapped as integer by using a cast function. Design the desc form for the attribute normally.
ApplySimple( "cast(#0 as INT)", )

STEP 3.
Create a report based on the boolean expression. As described below the boolean datatype is mapped as integer and the values '0' appears for false, and '1' appears for true. The respective desc forms are stored as 'No' and 'Yes'.
