SUMMARY
In Strategy Analytics Enterprise iOS Update 4 the certificate sign request workflow has changed and the following steps have to be followed to update certificate server deployment to successfully sign certificates in this version.

STEPS TO FOLLOW

Navigate to Strategy's Download site: https://software.Strategy.com/
Download the update for the certificate server component, JSP or ASP deployment, under Strategy 9.4.1 iOS Update 4.

For ASP deployment: Replace existing files in the following directories with the files from the zip file:


•C:\Program Files (x86)\MicroStrategy\Mobile Server ASPx\CertificateServer\WEB-INF\lib\bcprov-jdk15on-149.jar
•C:\Program Files (x86)\MicroStrategy\Mobile Server ASPx\CertificateServer\WEB-INF\lib\bcpkix-jdk15on-149.jar
•C:\Program Files (x86)\MicroStrategy\Mobile Server ASPx\CertificateServer\WEB-INF\lib\CertificateServer.jar
•C:\Program Files (x86)\MicroStrategy\Mobile Server ASPx\CertificateServer\web.config

Note: Backup and remove the following file from your environment:


•C:\Program Files (x86)\MicroStrategy\Mobile Server ASPx\CertificateServer\WEB-INF\lib\bcprov-jdk16-145.jar

4. For JSP deployment: Download and deploy the new WAR file. Make sure the certificateServerConfig.xml is backed up before deploying the new instance of the Certificate Server. The path for this configuration xml file is:


\CertificateServer\WEB-INF\xml

The file can then be used to restore the previous Certificate Server configuration.
