SYMPTOM:
When a user saves a document in Express mode in Strategy Web 9.4.1, the existing document’s description is replaced by the string “undefined”.
STEP TO REPRODUCE:
1. In Strategy Web, log into Strategy Tutorial project.
2. Go to Shared Reports > Enterprise Reporting Documents, right-click on “Balanced Scorecard” document > Properties and save the existing description (in order not to lose it).
3. Execute the document in Express mode and save it, overwriting the existing copy.
4. Notice that the document description has changed to “undefined”:
CAUSE:
This is a known issue with Strategy Web 9.4.1.
ACTION:
The issue has been addressed in Strategy 10.x. Please upgrade to take advantage of the fix.
