Strategy Mobile 9.4.1 for iOS comes preconfigured with the Strategy Mobile Demo project deployed in Strategy owned Mobile Servers. This project is designed for temporary use so that users can easily navigate new features or use the application for the first time.
The Strategy Mobile Demo project is configured to use a custom home screen disabling the ability of other projects to use the application at the same time. With this configuration it is not possible to use any two projects at the same time, however, there are two workarounds that easily enable users to switch between projects.
Configuration URLs are designed to enable users to easily and quickly configure the Strategy Mobile 9.4.1 application to use different projects. Mobile users can switch between their enterprise project and the demo project by using the re-configuration link available for the Strategy Demo in the following Technical Note KB38548: How to Configure iPad/iPhone Client for use of MicroStrategy Mobile Demo server.
Strategy SDK users are able to compile the Strategy Application for rebranding purposes. This way, mobile users can have two Strategy Mobile applications at the same time on the same device. Using two applications, it is possible to have one configured with the Strategy Demo and the other one configured for the user projects.
