SYMPTOM:
Error message “Either your user name or password is incorrect. Please try again. Remember that the password is case sensitive.” is received when setting up a root folder in mobile configuration page even though the login credential is correct against Tomcat as Mobile server in Strategy Mobile 9.x, as below:
CAUSE:
One possible cause of the issue is that mobile server name cannot be correctly resolved.
ACTION:
Modify the host file at /etc/hosts in mobile server machine, add the below content and restart web server:
<Mobile server IP address> <Mobile server name>
E.g.:
123.456.7.89 mobileserver.prod.domain.com
