When the Strategy Intelligence Server exports a report or document to PDF, information about the font selections made during the report or document design is gathered from the object definitions in the Metadata and used to format the report or document during exporting. The Intelligence Server will apply the selected font formatting to the exported PDF for all fonts that are available to it and will implement a default font of Courier New to any items formatted with a font that is not available on the Intelligence Server. Courier New is used as the default font because it is included with Strategy software (expressly to ensure that at least one known font is always available to the Intelligence Server).
QUESTION
Is it possible to change the default font used when exporting to a different font instead of Courier New?
ANSWER
At this time, even though additional fonts may be made available to the Intelligence Server for use, it is not possible in Strategy 9.x and 10.x to change the default font to a different font instead of Courier New. However, there is an existing Enhancement Request for this functionality to be added to a future Strategy release.
