• Strategy

EnterpriseDB (Postgres Plus Advanced Server) 9.3 is certified with MicroStrategy Analytics Enterprise 9.4.1.

EnterpriseDB (Postgres Plus Advanced Server) 9.3 is certified with Strategy Analytics Enterprise 9.4.1. This certification status currently applies to Strategy Intelligence Server 9.4.1 running on Linux and Windows operating systems - it does not apply to Strategy Intelligence Server 9.4.1 running on  AIX, HP-UX or Sun Solaris operating systems. Also, this certification status currently applies to Warehouse and Metadata configurations only - it does not apply to Statistics or Strategy Narrowcast Server.

This is a post-certification since the testing was performed after the release of Strategy Analytics Enterprise 9.4.1. Therefore, the certification information (tabulated below) is not present in the Strategy  Analytics Enterprise 9.4.1 General Information Readme file.

The following is the driver certification information on Windows for Strategy 9.4.1:

EnterpriseDB 9.3

EnterpriseDB 9.3 (Windows/x86 32-bit)

Certified

The following is the driver certification information on Linux for Strategy 9.4.1:

EnterpriseDB 9.3

EnterpriseDB 9.3 (Linux/x86 32-bit)

In order to use EnterpriseDB 9.3 as a warehouse with Strategy Intelligence Server 9.4.1, users first need to install the DBMS object for EnterpriseDB 9.3. The object is stored in a file called 'EnterpriseDB 9.x'. Users can contact Strategy Technical Support to obtain this file. Follow the steps provided in the following Strategy Knowledge Base document to use this database object

KB43537 - How to install DBMS objects provided by Strategy Technical Support

In order to create metadata tables successfully, a change to the EnterpriseDB server configuration file will be necessary (postgresql.conf). The parameter “standard_conforming_strings” value should be set to "off". Contact the database administrator to implement this change.
