KB214301: "SMTP Errror 552 exceeded storage allocation" message is logged to the DSSErrors.log file and email subscriptions fail in MicroStrategy Web 9.x and 10.x

SYMPTOM
When sending an email subscription in Strategy Web 9.x and 10.x, an "SMTP Errror 552 exceeded storage allocation" message is received in the DSSErrors.log file and email the email subscription fails.

CAUSE
This is a mail server error message indicating that the size of the attachment in the email subscription is too large for the current configuration of the mail server.
 
ACTION
Contact the Email Administrator or System Administrator to modify the mail server setting to allow larger attachments to be accepted by the mail server.
