KB214313: Selector Titles for selectors inside Filter panels will show the attribute name instead of the custom title in Flash mode in MicroStrategy Web 9.4.1.

SYMPTOM:
In Flash mode in Strategy Web 9.4.1, the filter panel will create a title for each selector and have selectors collapsed by default, as shown below:

However, when a selector is given a unique title in its Properties and Formatting, like shown below:
The title of the selector is set to "Test":

 
This title will not be shown until the selector's title bar is used to collapse the display of the selector, using the button highlighted below:

Notice the attribute name displays instead.
After hiding the selector, the correct name appears:

The correct name will also appear after the dropdown is interacted with, by selecting an element of Country. 
 
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

1. Create a document with a base report that has at least one attribute. In this test case the attribute was "Country."
2. Place a filter panel in the document and add a dropdown selector.
3. Go into the Properties and Formatting of the selector and change the Title to "Test" under General > Title.
4. Define the dropdown selector to use the attribute "Country."
5. Run the document in Flash view mode and note that the title of the dropdown selector shown is of the attribute "Country."
6. Uncollapse the selector by clicking on the title.
7. Note that the title now displays "Test."

 
CAUSE:
This is a known issue in Strategy Web 9.4.1. That will occur everytime the document is re-executed.
 
ACTION:
Contact Strategy Technical Support for an update on this issue.
 
WORKAROUND:
If possible run the document in a DHTML mode instead.
This issue has been fixed in Strategy Mobile 9.4.1 Hotfix 8. Take advantage of upgrading for a fix.
