SYMPTOM
Users performing a Project Comparison between two projects receive the error message below:

Object with ID 'XXXXX' and type 4 (metric) is not found in metadata. It may have been deleted.

 
CAUSE
One potential cause of the issue is a Strategy Shortcut object which is pointing to a deleted or invalid metric object.
ACTION
