This Artilce explains how to deal with a situation when user get multiple information windows when clicking on a clustered marker in an Advanced Clustering map on iPhone against MicroStrategy 9.4.1 iOS Update 3

SYMPTOM:
When users click on a clustered marker in an Advanced Clustering map on iPhone against Strategy 9.4.1 iOS Update 3, multiple information windows will be returned.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  • Follow KB47577 to create an Advanced Clustering map.
  • Execute the report services document on iPhone against Strategy 9.4.1 iOS Update.
  • Click on a clustered marker to bring up the information window.
  • Multiple information windows will be displayed.

CAUSE:
This is a known issue of Strategy 9.4.1 iOS Update 3.
ACTION:
Upgrade to Strategy 9.4.1 iOS Update 4 which has this issue solved.
