KB217543: Is it possible to differentiate view report and standard report in MicroStrategy 9.x?

It is possible to differentiate view reports (using Intelligent Cubes) and standard reports in Strategy 9.x using Strategy Enterprise Manager.

However, it is not possible to make this distinction using Strategy Desktop/Developer.
For example: R1_Standard is a standard report that runs against a warehouse; R2_View is an Intelligent Cube based view report.
In Strategy Desktop/Developer 9.x, both the reports are seen as 'Grid' objects, as shown below:

Enterprise manager table IS_REP can be used to distinguish report type. This is a lookup table providing descriptive information about the reports in the projects being tracked on Enterprise Manager 9.x.
The IS_REPCTYPE_IND column is the cube type indicator for a report. For a cube view report, the IS_REPCTYPE_IND has a value of 8.
All view reports can be identified from IS_REP table by running query:

SELECT * FROM IS_REP WHERE IS_REPCTYPE_IND = 8

The IS_REPTYPE_IND column indicates the type of a report – relational, XDA etc.
All relational reports can be identified by the query:

SELECT * FROM IS_REP WHERE IS_REPTYPE_IND=1

If users can provide a description for view reports manually by entering a relevant description such as 'View', the view reports can be distinguished on Strategy Desktop/Developer by checking the object description as shown below:
