Question

Is it possible to choose which filter to display when exporting to PDF or Excel?

Answer

When exporting to PDF or Excel, the display filter description is controlled by Report Details under Export Options, which includes many settings as shown below. However, there is no setting that can define which filter to display.

Workaround:
An alternative way is to use prompt and auto text code. Detailed steps as below:
1. Create a report, create three prompts and apply to the report.

2. Convert the report to document, use the Auto text with code "{&Prompt1&}", "{&Prompt2&}", "{&Prompt3&}", which respectively stand for the answer of Prompt1, 2 and 3. If prompt 2 is the one needs to be displayed when exporting, then using Auto text code "{&Prompt2&}".The other two can be done in the same manner.

3. Then export to PDF or Excel.
