Are there any settings to automate the purging of Statistics data?
 
ANSWER:
 
Currently there is no preset option to automatically purge statistics. A workaround is to create an Administrative task.
 
To take advantage of workaround do the following:
 

1. Create a new schedule. This can be done in Strategy Developer: Administration > Configuration Manager > right click Schedule > New > Schedule.
2. Follow the Schedule Wizard and verify the frequency is correct in resulting schedule occurrences.
3. Create an Administrative Task. This can be done in Strategy Developer: Administration Configuration Manager > right click schedule Administrative Task.
4. Choose the desired project
5. In the “Choose one of the following actions” drop down select “Purge statistics”
6. Select the schedule that you just created
7. Click OK
