"FAILED SUBSCRIPTION ' '; Error Msg: User does not have DssPrivilegesWebExecuteAnalysis privilege" error message encountered in MicroStrategy Intelligence Server 9.4.x and newer

SYMPTOM
When the user attempts to send a dashboard using either a schedule or the ‘Send Now’ feature in Distribution Services 9.4.x and newer, it fails without any email notification. Note this is only with dashboards, the user is successful when attempting to send a report services document.
The following error can be seen in the DSSErrors.log from the Intelligence Server at that time period:

FAILED SUBSCRIPTION '': Error Msg: User does not have DssPrivilegesWebExecuteAnalysis privilege. Error Code 0x0. Instance ID = xxxxxx, Contact (xxxx). Stop in 'NCSRequest::CreateCommandForExecution, DSRequest Component of Distribution Service'.

CAUSE
This is working as designed as the error is caused by the user not having the proper privilege “Web run dashboard”.

ACTION
The user must have the "Web run dashboard" privilege under Common Privileges in order for the subscription execution to be successful.
