KB219959: User is unable to drag a Big Decimal Prompt into the Custom Expression written inside a filter based on Attribute Qualification

 
SUMMARY:
This behavior, that impacts every Strategy version, is working as expected because the implementation of big decimal only supports value prompt, but not other type of prompts like attribute qualification and set qualification. However, a simple workaround is available in the current document if users want to leverage the functionality.
 
SYMPTOM:
The user tries to drag and drop a Big Decimal prompt into the custom expression field available on an attribute qualification filter but it is unable to do it.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

1. Create a new prompt, select value prompt, then choose type of Big Decimal:
2. Set prompt restriction as custom setting, finish and save the prompt.
3. Create a new filter, choose type of attribute qualification.
4. Notice that the previously created prompt cannot be dragged into the custom expression field.

 
CAUSE:
This is working as expected, the implementation of big decimal only supports value prompt, but not other type of prompts like attribute qualification and set qualification.
 
ACTION:
Apply the workaround provided below.
 
Input the big decimal prompt into the filed as follows '?[value prompt name]'
