KB220983: Is it possible to configure LDAP authentication across multiple LDAP directories?

Scott Rowley

Director, Application Security Engineering • MicroStrategy

Currently, it is not possible for the Intelligence Server to authenticate across multiple LDAP directories.

Question

Does the Strategy Intelligence Server support LDAP authentication against more than one LDAP Directory?

Answer

Currently, it is not possible for the Intelligence Server to authenticate across multiple LDAP directories.
However, if you use a third party entity that can support multiple LDAP servers (such as Kerberos, Trusted Authentication Providers, or SAML), then we are capable of allowing a login scheme that uses multiple LDAP directories.
