SYMPTOM:
When building a Transaction Service document in Strategy Web 9.4.1 and above, any changes to the Fill color of an Action Selector Button are not reflected when running the document in Express Mode.
The image below shows the color of the button has been changed to green:
When this document is run in Express Mode, the button will remain the default grey color:
CAUSE:
This is working as designed in Strategy 9.4.1 and above. The button created is a default HTML button, and Strategy does not support changing the background color of this button.
ACTION:
In order to change the background color, use an Action Selector Link, instead of Button, as shown below:
When the fill color is changed in Properties and Formatting for the Action Selector Link, the color will display as expected in Express Mode, as shown below:
