This Knowledge Base article describes a known issue that "All" and "Selected" options in the prompt filter panel are no longer available in MicroStrategy Mobile 9.4.1 iOS Update 5. This is working by design due to the design change on prompt page. MicroStrategy will continue to investigate and post updates as soon as they are available.

SYMPTOM:
Beginning in Strategy Mobile 9.3.0 iOS Update 1, users had two additional options when viewing their prompt selections after executing a prompted dataset,
as shown below:

Beginning in Strategy Mobile 9.4.1 iOS Update 5, users no longer see the options for "All" or "Selected" as shown below:

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
Follow these steps in Strategy Mobile 9.4.1 iOS Update 5 or up to reproduce the issue.

  1. Execute any prompted report, document or dashboard.
  2. Observe that the "All" and "Selected" options are no longer available.

CAUSE:
This is working as designed in Strategy Mobile 9.4.1 iOS Update 5. The prompt user interface was redesigned to look and function more similarly to the prompts in Strategy Web and Developer, which do not include these features. A request has been logged to address this functionality loss.

ACTION:
Strategy will continue to investigate and post updates as soon as they are available.
