Can not find the LDAP user/group. Please contact the Administrator.

This same error can also be seen when trying to log in using LDAP Authentication.

CAUSE
The common cause of this error is due to incorrect LDAP settings.  Specifically, under the Filter settings, the LDAP search root, user filter, and/or group filter may be incorrect.
The reason this also affects Windows Authentication is because the LDAP setting, "Synchronize user/group information with LDAP during Windows authentication and import Windows link during Batch Import" is checked.

With this setting checked, Strategy will perform a LDAP search based on the Filter settings even during Windows Authentication, resulting in the error if the filters are incorrect.

ACTION
Either uncheck the setting to synchronize with LDAP during Windows authentication, or in correct information in the Filter settings so that successful LDAP and Windows Authentication can occur.
