This issue is classified as a defect with MicroStrategy Technical Support. This will hinder users from copying the location/path of MicroStrategy objects with Windows short cut designated for copy and paste, 'Ctrl + C' and 'Ctrl + V'.

SUMMARY:
This issue is classified as a defect with Strategy Technical Support. This will hinder users from copying the location/path of Strategy objects with Windows short cut designated for copy and paste, 'Ctrl + C' and 'Ctrl + V'. This will hinder users from copying location and path of the specific report or other objects easily, thus leading to manual construction of the exact path.
SYMPTOM:
When a user highlights the path of the specific project and tries to copy over the path using Windows operating system's copy and paste shortcut, the content does not get copied over to either within the Strategy Developer environment or to outside applications such as notepad and Microsoft Word.
Highlight the Location/Path with 'Ctrl + C'

ACTION:
Strategy will continue to investigate and post updates as soon as they are available.
WORKAROUND:
Right mouse click on the path highlighted and select copy/paste from the contextual menu
