Tomcat 8 was released by Apache Software Foundation to take full advantage of the Java Development Kit 1.8 new features. However, the Tomcat 8 Application Server is not supported for use with Strategy 9.4.1 Web, Mobile or Web Services.
Changes in the Strategy 9.4.1 platform are needed for this configuration to be supported. An existing enhancement has been logged for Tomcat 8 support.
Strategy 10.x made the changes required in order to support Tomcat 8.x. Upgrade to take advantage of that certification.
