Strategy supports the integration and deployment of analytics from the R statistical environment starting with Strategy Analytics Desktop 9.4.1.3. Customers interested in deploying analytics from the R programming language into Strategy can do so using the R Integration Pack, available separately from the CodePlex open source community web site. For more information, go to http://www.codeplex.com and search for the RIntegrationPack project. The third-party R environment is freely available, as a separate download, from http://CRAN.R-project.org.
Refer to the following Strategy technical documents below for detailed installation instructions:
KB201798 -- How to install R Integration Pack on Linux in Strategy 9.x?
KB47802 -- How to install R Integration Pack in Strategy 9.x on Windows Operating Systems
KB46683 -- How to install R, the R integration pack or StrategyR (that includes the deployR() tool) on a machine that doesn’t have access to the internet
The RScript functions are a set of common functions and supporting files that are added to a Strategy project, which allow Strategy metrics to pass an R script and its associated inputs to R for execution. Metrics using these common R script functions also return the results from R for display and analysis in Strategy reports, documents, and dashboards.
Once downloaded and configured the R Integration Pack, there are five functions available in Strategy Analytics Desktop to deploy R analytics. These functions are shown below:

(For the functions listed above, scalars are variables with a single value while vectors are variables with one or more values.)
