KB239619: How to obtain the Fiddler output to in XQuery Editor and Generator (XEG)?

The following steps show how to obtain the Fiddler output in XQuery Editor and Generator (XEG).
 

• Enable ‘Allow remote computers to connect’ in the Fiddler options. The default port is 8888.
  

• Users can specify the proxy by creating a Security Definition. Click ‘New’ in the following Server Definition dialog:
  

• The following dialog opens to save the Definition file.
  

• Specify ‘http://localhost’ as the Server URI, ‘8888’ as Server Port and click Finish.
  

• The proxy setting is saved as shown in the image below. Fiddler now captures the request/response between XEG and the server.
