KB244723: Usher Security On-premise Requirement with MicroStrategy v10

On-premise Usher could involve upto three different pieces. Please note all of the components below must be installed on the same machine.
 
1. Usher Security- Includes Usher server and Usher Network Manager. Both components needs to be installed on the same machine.
2. Usher Analytics- Optional
3. Usher Mobile- Optional
Usher Security
 
- Minimum 4 Cores
- Minimum 16GB RAM
- Application Server: Tomcat8. Following 3rd party libraries should be downloaded into tomcat8\lib

• Xom-1.2.10 jar (download link: http://www.cafeconleche.org/XOM/xom-1.2.10.jar)
• Logback-classic-1.1.12 (download link: http://logback.qos.ch/dist)
• Logback-core-1.1.2 jar (download link: http://logback.qos.ch/dist)

- JDK 1.7.075
- Supported only on Red-Hat 6.4

• (Mem cached)

- MySQL database

• 5.6.23 Community version,
• mysql-connector-java.x86.5.1.22 JDBC driver

- Network Manager Application Server: 

• Apache 2.2.15 for Network Manager
• PHP 5.4.38
• Browsers :IE 9+, Firefox 3.1+, Chrome 3.7+ & Safari 7.1+

- Timezone of the Usher Machine = GMT

•  cd/ etc- rm localtime- ln – s /usr/share/zoneinfo/ GMT localtime 

Usher Analytics (Requires Usher Security. Please be sure to meet the above requirements on top of requirements below)
- MySql 64-bit ODBC driver 5.3.4
- Python 2.6.6+
- Requires MSTR 10 (following components)

• MSTR I-Server
• Strategy Mobile not required.
• Strategy Desktop not required
• Customers must purchase Google Maps License key to view Usher Analytics dashboards in a map format.A “free” key is also available for restricted use Details: https://developers.google.com/maps/licensing
• Requires Usher Server, NM 
   

Usher Mobile (Requires Usher Security & Usher Analytics to be installed and configured. lease be sure to meet the above requirements on top of requirements below)

- Requires Usher Mobile App (IOS on -available on App Store)
