Strategy 10 Secure Enterprise introduces a new option on the Email device called Smart Host Authentication (Optional). This setting allows the use of SMTP authentication when sending email messages and is available from Administration > Delivery Manager > Devices > Generic email as shown below:
Note: The new setting is for the Smart Host server or the destination email server credentials, and not the individual email account credentials.
