This article describes an issue that occurs when rendering a document containing the ESRI Map Widget in MicroStrategy Web 9.4.x and 9.5.x using an invalid ESRI key.

SUMMARY:
This article describes an issue that occurs when rendering a document containing the ESRI Map Widget in Strategy Web 9.4.x and 9.5.x using an invalid ESRI key.
 
SYMPTOMS:
When executing a document with the ESRI Map Widget, the following error message is displayed:  


com.Strategy.utils.cache.CacheException: Error retrieving token using the given AppID and AppSecret. Please verify if the AppID and AppSecret are valid tokenString: {"error":{"code":400,"error":"invalid_request","error_description":"Invalid Client_id","message":"Invalid Client_id","Details":[]} } 

 
CAUSE:
This issue has been observed to occur with invalid ESRI key.
 
ACTION:
Request a new ESRI Key from Strategy Technical Support.
