SYMPTOM:
After modifying a user description in Strategy Developer 9.4.1, it is not updated correctly in the Metadata DSSMDOBJINFO table.
CAUSE:
This issue occurs when the user was originally created in a different locale than the one currently defined in Developer and the description actually appears in the DSSMDOBBJTRNS table instead.
This is working by design and the description is correctly updated into the translation table instead of the info table.
WORKAROUND:
Please consider switching the locale settings for the affected user to the same settings as defined in your Developer preferences.
